Afua is a qualified maths secondary school teacher with a background degree in Accounting and Finance. She is currently in her 5th year of teaching. She has taught mostly GCSE students, both foundation and higher, in all the exam boards including Edexcel, AQA, OCR and WJEC. She is good with her students and has long term relationships with most of them.

Afua takes a collaborative approach with parents to ensure each student achieves the best possible outcome. She builds quality relationships with both students and parents.
She focuses on helping students who lack confidence. Her patient approach and clear explanations help students understand difficult concepts. She uses praise to build self-belief and motivation.
Outside the Classroom
Afua likes to spend time with her friends and family doing any and every activity. She started jogging to keep fit during Covid. She managed to run a maximum of 13km with lots of 5km runs in between. She has a lifelong goal to one day run a half marathon and hopefully a full marathon eventually.
Availability
Afua is available for sessions throughout the week.
Rate: £45ph or £40 for 45 minutes
