Anna is a qualified primary teacher with over 13 years of teaching experience in Key Stage 2. She specialises in English across Year 3 to Year 6, with particular expertise in reading, writing, spelling, grammar, and punctuation. She has extensive experience preparing children for their SATs and tutoring children for the English elements of the 11+. With qualifications in Creative Writing and an English Literature degree, Anna brings genuine passion and enthusiasm to every lesson.

Anna's real passion is English, and this enthusiasm shines through in every lesson. She loves reading, holds an English Literature degree, and has qualifications in Creative Writing. This deep understanding of language and literature enables her to create engaging, tailored lessons that bring English to life.
What sets Anna apart is her genuine love of tutoring. She takes time to get to know each child, understanding their interests and strengths, and designs lessons specifically around what engages them. She believes in building children's confidence through warm, supportive teaching and plenty of praise. For Anna, the most rewarding part is watching children progress and develop a love of learning themselves.
Outside The Classroom
Anna is an avid reader and won't go anywhere without her books! She also loves pilates and yoga, and enjoys going for long walks with her family.
Fun fact: Anna is from Wales and is fluent in both English and Welsh. She attended first language Welsh school where all her subjects were taught through Welsh!
