Catherine has been teaching for almost 15 years in primary schools. She has taught Year 3 to Year 6 with lots of time teaching in Year 6. She also spent a few years working as an assistant head teacher. She loves helping children understand something new and build confidence in their learning.

Catherine loves teaching and tutoring. Helping children to understand something new is one of her favourite things. Tutoring lets her adapt lessons exactly to the children's needs. She gets to know the children really well.
She uses lots of praise and encouragement to build confidence. She creates a growth mindset where children don't fear making mistakes. This helps them feel comfortable taking risks in their learning.
Outside the Classroom
Catherine loves travelling, hiking and walking her dog, Bert, in her spare time.
Fun fact: Catherine plays the flute. She has climbed to the top of two of the highest mountains in the UK.

Catherine is available:
Mondays: 5pm onwards
Wednesdays: 5pm onwards
Thursdays: from 4:15pm
Rate: £42ph or £37 for 45 minutes
