Claire is a qualified Secondary English teacher. She tutors children from Year 7 to Year 11 in English Language and Literature, and Year 12 and 13 in A-Level English Literature. She has been a full-time tutor since October 2021 and has guided many students successfully through exams and other areas of difficulty.

Claire enjoys tutoring because it allows rapid progress to be made on a one-to-one basis. She uses all her experience to make sure lessons are bespoke for each student.
She likes to put lessons together using a step-by-step approach to build confidence and skills in a particular area or topic. Lots of feedback will be given. Students will have opportunities to do practice tests or mock exams if they wish.
Claire is friendly and understanding. You don't need to be worried about getting to know her.
Outside the Classroom
Claire spends much of her spare time with her two daughters, one of whom has Autism and some physical disabilities. She also loves to read, especially murder mystery novels. She enjoys travelling and visiting new places too.

Claire is available for sessions throughout the week.
Rate: £50ph or £45 for 45 minutes
