Cristy is a fully qualified Primary teacher with a decade of classroom experience spanning EYFS to KS2. She holds a First Class BEd in Primary Education from the University of Edinburgh, an MSc in Psychology with Distinction, and is currently completing her NPQ in Leading Teaching.
Fully Qualified Teacher
BEd Primary Education (Hons) First Class, University of Edinburgh. MSc Psychology with Distinction. NPQ Leading Teaching (2024-2025). Enhanced DBS checked April 2025. Safeguarding level 2 certified.
Primary Specialist (EYFS to KS2)
Teaches all core subjects across the Primary curriculum including English, Maths, Reading, and Writing, from Early Years through to the end of Key Stage 2.
Psychology-Informed Teaching
Holds an MSc in Psychology with Distinction. Uses her understanding of how children think and learn to plan lessons that build confidence, reduce anxiety, and support lasting progress.
Experience: 10+ years
Over a decade of classroom teaching experience from EYFS to KS2. Plans every lesson in small, deliberate steps to meet each child's individual pace and learning style.

Cristy believes every child learns at their own pace and in their own way. She plans lessons in small, careful steps so children build skills and confidence gradually. Her sessions are tailored to each individual, with a focus on making learning enjoyable and effective. She is patient, enthusiastic, and consistent. Parents and children find her easy to work with, and her sessions create a calm, supportive space where children feel safe to ask questions and make progress.
Availability
Rate: £50ph or £45 for 45 minutes.
This includes personalised lessons, weekly feedback, and optional weekly homework.
