Emma is a qualified teacher with 12 years of experience teaching Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Statistics up to and including GCSE level. She loves all the subjects she teaches and has had a lot of success helping children make progress. She wants to make learning enjoyable, accessible and relatable for every child.

Emma is good at building trust with children. She makes sure they feel safe and develops positive relationships. One of her biggest strengths as a teacher is helping children build their confidence by showing them they can succeed.
She is patient, positive, and encouraging. She knows that with the right support, any child can reach their potential. This takes time. She is very patient and encouraging throughout.
Outside the Classroom
Emma loves her dogs. She enjoys going out for long walks and exploring with them. She likes a good series or movie but will usually do some colouring or sudoku while watching TV.
She likes to take her nephew for days out. They enjoy trampolining, visiting zoos and farms, theme parks and the beach.
Fun fact: Emma enjoys reading and never gets bored of Harry Potter. She has read it over 10 times.

Rate: £45ph or £40 for 45 minutes
