Rob is a qualified teacher with over 10 years of experience in education. His classroom work spans Upper KS2 and Lower KS3, with additional teaching across Upper KS1 and Lower KS2. He draws on varied experiences from different educational settings to adapt his teaching to each student's needs.
Fully Qualified Teacher
Rob is a fully qualified teacher with QTS and holds an Enhanced DBS check.
Primary Maths (KS1 & KS2)
Building confidence in younger learners through number work, times tables, and problem solving.
Secondary Maths (KS3)
Helping students strengthen foundations and prepare for GCSE through algebra, geometry, and data handling.
Experience: 10+ years
Rob trained at the University of Worcester and completed his PGCE at the University of East Anglia between 2014 and 2015.
More About Rob
Rob focuses on helping children become confident learners who enjoy the process. He holds a First Class degree in Forensic Science from the University of Lincoln and an MPhil in Chemical Ecology.
He loves Maths but finds all subjects interesting. He wants to pass this enthusiasm to your child. His approach centers on building confidence first, with skills following naturally.
Outside the classroom, Rob stays active through sport. He plays league badminton and previously played at county level. His two young children keep him busy. He believes a healthy body supports a healthy mind.
Availability
Rob is available for sessions throughout the week.
Rate: £45ph or £40 for 45 minutes
